Emily would look so much better on the ice if she would hold her moves longer and have deeper, less rushed crossovers. It doesn't look like she's getting a lot of power from them.

I'm no Luddite, but my ears sure felt better back in the days when vocal music wasn't allowed.

Yeah the problem I have is when the song is in English I try to hear and understand the lyrics and I don't have the brain capacity to do that AND watch the actual skating!

Emily started off really well, shame. Love the eye make up!

It's awful for US Nats. Anyone outside the US has to watch a pirated stream because it's not streamed anywhere besides Peacock and NBC.

NBC's ownership of the coverage is honestly ridiculous, even inside the US. Back in the day when we had IceNetwork (another terrible paid service), they wouldn't stream anything that was on NBC or even provide it on demand.

Maddie just needs a 124 to take the lead, so as long as her TES doesn't get dinged she will take the lead. A solid skate, impressive how she rallied from early mistakes!

Yes, Madeline is very reliable. I feel like she's been struggling with jumps more this competition than in previous ones but she fought for everything. I think this music is lovely but Madeline doesn't have the power in her skating to make it work. I am sure there are better choices.
