Alysa is such a sunny confident skater, who clearly loves what she is doing. Alas on the 3A fall, but she wasn't fazed by it, just got up and skated the rest of the programme without a hitch. Her Ina Bauer was beautiful, in particular.

I agree. Alysa and Wakaba have my favorite programs this year. She got called on URs. That was correct.

I love Mai, but Wakaba is a much more compelling skater. Why doesn't the PCS reflect that?

i got a lot of flack for this when i watched mai live at ACI before the O games. I am afraid to repeat what I said back then but here it is : she was skating very small... she didn't project... Kaetlyn was skating after her and it was night and day... so to me, eventhough Mai is lovely and refined, there is very little as an audience member to grab on when in the arena... on the screen, we see the details, not in the arena... so, i am not too happy that wakaba didn't get rewarded here.

This program is actually quite empty. The height on Alena's jumps and her basic skating is wonderful though... there are some URs going on here ...I wonder if they will be called...
