Alysa's SS have improved so much over this past year. She looks hardly recognizable on the ice.

First time I have seen Valieva - that was lovely. I think sometimes she's doing the choreo instead of feeling it in her gut, but it is lovely. And GREAT skate from Alyssa!

Very, very nice. She's going to score lower on GOE, but that was excellent.

I will say that although I wasn't a fan of the music when I first saw it, it is a breath of fresh air with all these drag-ass dirges and sleepy ballads.

Unfortunately, Liu's program looks juniorish coming right after Valieva's, but it was a clean skate and positive GOE on the 3A!

I was thinking the same thing! Definitely lacking the refinement. Still, huge improvements for Alysa in the last year.
