2021 Worlds: Ladies' Short Program

I have a feeling a handful of later skaters will get URs called and then we'll have something to complain about for the next few days.

Karen's 3T was definitely under, the 2A looked clean, not sure about the 3L? (Often she'll underrotate more jumps, just not here). So I was expecting something closer to 69-71.
3Lo looked good. It was about 150 degrees UR on Lz and 180 degrees on 3T

She was pretty heavily taped, my guess is that she aggrevated an old injury with the takeoff.

But it really sort of pisses me off quite a bit that she had to just limp off the ice on her own. What's with that?

As far as the panel goes lets just hope for consistency. If they don't call borderline ur for some then they shouldn't call them for anyone.

My personal belief is call them all.. but if you aren't going to call them all call none of them.

You can bet there will be some conversation if USA gets the spots for Olympics over Korea due to them not calling the URs on 3Lutz and 3Toe for Karen Chen.

My network went crazy right after Karen (yay!!) and now I come back to see Mae got hurt (Nooooooo!). I'm kind of glad I didn't see it. :(
Same. Thanks to that I didn't see the fall, only when Mae was already moving to the boards with leg injured.

Yeah that 3T was definitely under and honestly she didn’t have many transitions so I’m not sure why that component score is so high...

Some kind of protocol...??
