Emilea has wonderful qualities as a skater, really too bad the jumps weren’t here today.

Well this was a bit of a struggle especially in the jumping department and I think she lost a bit of the performance as well when the jumps didnt go her way

In 2019 four ladies advanced to the free skates with 3+2 combo and one more (Lecavelier) with missed combo.

Commentator (Jeroen Prins) says he expects the competition to become a “festival of mistakes” of sorts, because a lot of skaters are where they are usually around November/December, training-wise. :-(

I think the pressure got to Emilea. Because she did this programme so much better in every other competition I have seen her in!

But, this is her weaker programme of the two. It is the FS where she gets all the points. Even though I hate the music!

So, fingers crossed she does the same here!

They can, senior SP is not that tied by the rules as the junior one.
