Wow what an opening combo! Kim have allways been my leats favourite of the Korean ladies but I think she convinced me today. great overall skate!

I just wanna say, I'm especially happy to see Yelim here at Worlds. Here's her history with both junior and senior Worlds since debut...

2017 (jr): qualified but WD due to injury
2018 (jr): didn't qualify
2019 (jr but sr eligible): didn't qualify, despite going to JGPF, at least got sent to 4CC (but should've been sent to both IMO)
2020 (sr): qualified but covid

On that note, I'm also glad to see Liza here as well. Her last Worlds was 7 years ago when she won the title!

I felt Yelim was a lot better than Karen (who was brilliant herself) overall but they‘ll never give it to her. And I‘m usually not a fan of Yelim but she really surprised me here.

I watched "All About Eve" (1950) last week, and there was a scene where there was a party. But, the host (played by Bette Davis) wasn't in the mood, and she insisted on "Liebestraum" being played over and over and over again. And the pianist playing it and the guests listening to it were getting fed up.

As for Ye-Lim, great job!

Agree with this. Her jumps were better than any skater up to this point. To be fair though, she doesn't have the charism of Karen or Liza.

Unless the rest of the world comes up with a spectacular surprise in the free the world title of FS dress design will once again go to South Korea. And they can consider themselves lucky the Koreans only come with two ladies, or it could easily turn out a podium sweep!
