Well then sure. We all have our opinions.

IMO I'd love to see the "I do difficult jumps so I get PCS" bonus gotten away with. You already get the points for the jumps themselves. You don't need them in the PCS too.

I did not expect to scroll so far down to find Trusova's ranking, especially with all the pracrice reports of her jumping 5 quads. Was literally scrolling back and forth wondering where she was.

I thought the judges overall did a fine job today. The only shocker for me was the missed call on Karen Chen.

No, I think Satoko just needs time to adjust to the height. The technical change may best fruit by next year.

I think she just needs time as well! Her jumps did look a little higher! I’m still mad at her PCS being so low though...

Anna improved. Her edges are better. Her spins are more centered However, the basic skating is still the weakest of the top group and her PCS didn't reflect that. Anna is great. I am complaining about the judging.

That's interesting. You think Anna's skating skills are worse than Alexandra's? Or do you mean the top 3 of Liza-Anna-Rika?

Mae WD. I'm kinda confused - did you actually expect her to finish her skate with a torn achilles?

I said that I didn't see the earlier groups, so it wasn't clear to me that she didn't finish her skate. I've seen skaters finish programs and then be diagnosed with injuries. I'm not a doctor nor a medic, nor once again, did I see what happened in real time.

I suppose her injury during performance could be related to this difficult lack of competition-ready season. I'm sorry for Mae.

I do. Her edges are better than Sasha's.. athough Sasha is improving but she pumps so much on her crossovers. It really bothers me and it's honestly why I probably don't enjoy her skating as much as I wish I could.

My all-time favourite skater had a terrible Lip. I supported him beyond reason, but never in a million years would I deny that he was jumping the Flip from the wrong edge. It was there for everyone to see. I don't get it, but whatever, it is really none of my business.

Oh please. Compared to the expectations she and her team encouraged, she is the most overhyped ladies skater ever. Ppl were proclaiming her as a lock for every gold medal out there and unbearable, and she has not delivered so far.

I sideeyed everyone for spazzing over her practiced and running to declare her a winner this week.

Shcherbakova also is quite a bit faster throughout. Shcherbakova has deeper edges, holds them better and with more control.

Rika may not be the standard for skating skills. But Anna has the most sickled feet I've ever seen on a lady in the sport, and gets all her hes momentum from kicking her legs and swinging her arms, not from the edges themselves. Deepest edges, control, and speed should probably all go to Kaori.

Yes, Sasha has developed a quite obvious Lip, no need to argue about that.

As far as I know she's always had that lip. So does Anna. Their flip jumps are identical. Flat edges and full blade assists.

I think that's more of an awkward introvert's smile (I giggle every time I see her doing it lol) that is planned like a choreo element

I wish they would have done something else with the choreography there. The smoke break with the weird posing and smiling does not enhance her, and the rest of the program is so good.

Fair enough.
I always say that there are skaters that I can acknowledge as being very talented but that never touch me on a personal level. Davis and White are probably the most egregious example. I knew they were great. I was totally bored watching them.
For me I will probably always find the Ladies the least satisfying because I often like skaters who are beautiful but fragile. I'm a huge Satoko fan. I love Alena K. and I was a huge Anna P. fan.

Maybe because such expectations are hard to deal with for everyone, much less a literal teenager?! So harsh. I wonder how you‘d do in her shoes.
