I mean, they kind of did though, on the technical side? They didn't have big errors, but they weren't completely clean either. In the FS, M/G had all +GOE (BV 60.40). Sui had a UR on the 3S and the 2T in the combo and a q on the 3T (BV 56.98). Those mistakes meant they had negative GOE on both sbs jumping passes, and M/G already have higher BV on that element. And Sui had the step/q on the 3T in the SP as well, which if clean might have done it.
I agree that the PCS score seems a bit low, and I would be fine with S/H having come out on top. But I don't think this result is unreasonable either. For me it was close and could go either way.
