So far, so good. A good few nice performances to get the show on the road. Sorry for Lana and Antonio, Liza and Martin, but the top three pairs were fun to watch.

Oh for sure, not doubting that, but the Knierims did also have pristine twists.

The Knierims could do a quad twist as can T/M and S/H. The Knierims' 3-twist was great. And Alexa/Brandon's twist is right up there. But I think Calalang/Johnson's twist is on a par or even a tad better -- very high and effortless dismount. Savchenko/Massot had a spectacular 3-twist. All these aforementioned teams have better 3-twists for eg., than both Canadian teams.

Not sure. I'd settle for people skating from Famous Blue Raincoat (the Jennifer Warrens cover album). Why does it always have to be Hallelujah? Leonard himself thought it was terribly overdone.
