2022-23 Cup of Russia - Final - St. Petersburg

Honestly, if the imaginary "d*ck-measuring contest" of the Russian fed with the ISU is more important than the actual athletes affected... Honestly not a great look, and I'd feel really unappreciated as a skater. :scratch2:
What? The Russian Figure Skating Fed doing dumb sh-stuff? In my figure skating?! Say it ain't so!

Yeah they suck.

But the point is to keep the usual schedule in case the ban is canceled in the near future. Juniors are probably even less used to competing at the end of March.
Novice nats are at the end or march beginning of April, I wouldn't say they are not used to it. Even if we say cup final is there to keep juniors on the usual schedule then junior nats was held way too late in previous years they have been given 3-4 weeks break not barely 2 weeks.

But top juniors usually don't compete at novice nats.
Yes, the JNats were somewhat later than usual, but most likely there was a reason why Perm couldn't hold it earlier.

The thing is, with the "normal" competitions, they can't keep the "normal" international schedule.

The domestic season for Jrs starts much later than the international Jr season, the international (J)GPF is in December, while the domestic Cup finals have always been in February/March. Jr Nationals have also usually been held earlier (end of January or early February) depending on when the Jr World Championships are, with the Cup final usually being around 4 weeks later. Plus, top juniors and seniors usually did not take part in the Cup final unless they had to fight for a spot on the (Jr) Worlds team, in order to preserve energy.

Embarrassing injury story...I did way too much texting on my phone today and now...I have a sore arm. I hope it feels better tomorrow.

Ahmahgawd. Time to get nervous.

:ghug: for Tito!!

I just realized she missed out on 1 combo didn't she ? That plus 2F and 2x spin level 2 the score will not be as high as it could have been but it doesn't take away by how well she did with those 3As and 4Ss:console:
