That jump even though off axis had so much height that she was still able to complete the rotation and somehow land on her feet and not on her back.

I'm surprised by the height of that quad, she doesn't seem to be that muscular. The 4T-2T was a beauty.

Also, the irony is, by trying to punish Plushenko (if that's what they're trying to do), they're just proving him right and strengthening his conviction. The exact opposite effect of what I'm sure they wanted to achieve.

I think Plushy (and the fed) knows that his skaters were not undermarked at nats. Plushy spoke because he wants the same unapologetic support that camps like khrustalnyi or CSKA in its time receveid. Since his skaters are doing the hardest layouts in juniors and have the strongest potential, he thinks they should get cosmic PCS and GOEs even when they do mistakes. The message fed is sending is imo "close your boca and earn it". He doesn't have a special achievement yet to get that kind of support.
Honestly, if it had been another coach, with no reputation, fed would have punished them personally. But since they can't touch him, they touch his skaters.

Zhilina took it out of the judges hands with that performance. That was breathtaking jumping. This is the Russian Rocket, the Quad Queen. She's going to be the number 3 after Kamila and Sonya (for now but she might improve her components), but if they make errors she will be in there with a chance to win every time. Plushenko could have at least acted pleased. What's with this guy all he seems to care about is Titova?

I think Eteri could apply the finishing touch to Zhilina make her equal to Kamila and Sonya.

Petrova was my favourite skater it's too bad her jumps aren't up to scratch but if she grows and gains strength maybe it will change, otherwise she won't progress despite being so enjoyable to watch.

How have the boys behaved so far?

Eduard went for three quads, and did two of them. Kirill had step outs out of both Axels, Kolya L did 3A+2T and then a lot of mistakes. Andrei tripled his 4S and doubled his 3A (it leaded to three 2As). Fedya landed shaky 3A, other jumps were shaky too, he fell from the 3Lo+REP.
