I think some these boys need to look at Daniil skate from the 1st stage, a clean skate with a lower technical content can take you far up the standings

Good effort from Maxim at least he got a combo there and he definitely fought hard and didn't give up

The men's composition at these first CoR stages has been strange anyway. It's literally the members of the national team, plus completely unknown skaters. I wonder what's up with the Russian middle tier skaters like Savosin, Lezheev, Shesternev, and Lazukin. So far no sign of them.

Savosin said he would compete but I guess he will be in the later stages and I think Lazukin is injured. There's bunch of other middle field boys missing tho so I dont know when or if they will skate.

He didn't take part in SPb test skates, WD from Panin Memorial and wasn't even assigned to SPb Cup.

Lezheev, by the way, doesn't perform even in St Petersburg too.
