2022-23 Cup of Russia - Stage 4 - Moscow

OK jumping to live for the ladies. Time to get nervous!

Also is one of the dancers Alexander Alexanyan? That's almost as good as Yehor Yehorov!

Aw the sound of the intro music scared one of the skaters! 😅

btw this quite off topic but what is happening with Maria Z? Is she planning on competing in Juniors like Kulikova, Dasha S and Nika even tho she is senior eligible or is she moving to seniors? She was assigned to Panin memorial as senior but WD and we haven't heard of her since? She has 2 stages left to take part in  She was injured during the off season so im not sure whether her disappearance should be concerning or not

Wikipedia:
In May, it was announced that Vakhnov had teamed up with American Isabella Flores, presumably for the United States.
Isabella has a different partner now, Ivan Desyatov, who skated with Ekaterina Andreeva last season (first for Russia and later Belarus), so Sasha Vakhnov is without a partner again.

Yay! How wonderful, just realised that the women in Russia will have time to skate before the Sheffield women begins...

Nobody knows. I've heard nothing, but I've also not seen her in any competitions so far (which is a pretty stark contrast to her many competitions last season) or on IG (her mother/coach sometimes posted videos of her).

Shaky start for Angelina.

Isn't the combo invalid if the second jump isn't at least a 2T? She only did 1T.
And also the 2F should be invalid?

Smart choice to play it safe and not do 3A or 3Lz+3Lo and risk falling or underrotations.

The field here is comparatively deep, with big scoring potential if clean but also big potential for unclean skates which could drop their scores below hers with a less difficult but clean skate.

i wanna cry😭
... But at least she got a combo in and it was 3lz-3T and miraculously that step out didn't get counted at least at the moment, im hoping she she disguised it well enough:console:
