I’m surprised by Kawabe’s 3A attempt. The program was going well until the second fall on the 3F. She was very focused, perhaps too focused. This is still a step forward for her.

She needed to get on the podium to qualify for worlds this season. This is a competition.

Saki kept her programs from before she joined Team Kobe
But Nakano's skaters do often have programs from different choreographers anyway

I hope this is not a sign of things to come, in the free skate, regarding the skaters from this coaching team. That was Saki’s worst free skate this season
