So happy for the Voronovs. I hope Vadim's big bro ego doesn't suffer as he trails Dobromir by roughly 0.30 pts. 😎
 
I love young Dobromir's street dancing. 😎 But it wasn't his day, 3A fall and hands on ice. Never mind, big bro Vadim won deservedly and Dobromir has silver, bearing in mind that he is still officially classed as 2 sports category (intermediate novices).

Ilya Malyshev was a bit off today, letting Georgiy Likhachev take bronze.
 
I thought It was Sofia Dzepka . So delighted to see her back competing. Still got beautiful spins. I do hope she can regain her form. Was such a prodigious talent. Love Milana and Maria Masur.

I'm watching the 2nd day right now.

Although as evidence of my horrible, horrible pettiness, the fact it's named after Lakernik annoys me greatly and I kind of feel dirty watching it.

(That guy is a jerk.)
 
OMG for a second I thought this dude was skating without a shirt!

Turned out that was deliberate he's wearing a vest over a skin toned top. :laugh:

Not sure what category we're looking at here though, I missed the announcement.
 
It's the first category boys and older boys (as distinct from the first category boys...)

Next up we gave an absolutely adorable kid in a vest a green bowtie!
 
Smagina was adorable-not her best and I was surprised she held on to first. Elena K is very capable of a 3A, and I think the judges were sending a message that they want to see it attempted. Still was surprised she didn't win.

I was surprised as well.I do like them both. Elena has so much potential. Both good in different ways.
