Like I love Alena, but she's definitely getting a bit of a reputation bonus on the GOE for that combo.

Deservedly she also got the highest PCS and went into first overall.

She is the moscow judges favorite rn, they do have a habit of saving her quite a bit. She has been the leader of her generation for quite awhile so her reputation scoring is really strong. I like her a lot but yeah sometimes the GoE she gets vs what we see on the stream are worlds apart.

Yeah, it's been lagging from time to time, unfortunately. It also happened at the beginning of Julia Zigorenko's skate but it's happening more now.

And there are barely more than 200 people watching...

I feel like Zoya would benefit from moving the combo to the 1st half for now, she kinda runs out of steam at the 2nd half.

I wish they would let their Novices compete more, she would benefit a lot from more competition experience.

The only thing I'm sure of is that it will be very tight either way. Of those already safely through to the Free, there are just over 12 points separating them all.
