2022-23 Russian Local Events – Discussion

Oh Mark, he was doing so well until he hit the 2nd half of jumps:( you can see the moment he fell on that 3lz, he lost any confidence he had and there was no hope for the remaining two jumps:console:

Looks like the entire Mozer Team didn't make the journey east. That's sad.
Well then, I shall enjoy Pavel's START team instead. :)

Bad luck for Masha and Ilya :( She stood the throws pretty fine and than had a fluke fall. Well, plenty of time to iron out the wobblies.

If anyone is interested, dancers in Kirov:

Kluging sure has some big jumps, honestly so much potential if her coaches get their priorities straight and focus on the lack of a lutz for now. There's no need for a 4s and a 3A on top of that unstable 4T. Really nice sp from her that 3F-3T was big and nice:clap:

Poor Alena K, jumps just dont work out for her anymore :console: I wonder if its time for her to try a new coach or even to switch to dance .
I just dont know about Lyutikov things have worked out for him well with the new students that came to him this season (Lena, Voronov brothers and Mark Sokolov) but all of them came to him with all the jumps ready and his students that have been with him since they were little kids are just not thriving.

ooh Dobromir is preforming here so soon after younger age novice nats:eek: this should be an easy win for him

@LadyB heads up in case you didn't know
I just wanted to post that!

shame about the 3A which also cost him a combo but the field is rather weak here so he should still easily win:console: everything else went perfectly tho:cheer2:
