After SPb Championships, she said she would perform wherever possible. She wants to make it to the SPb national team.

Good luck to her. Hopefully she can make a successful comeback.

This season the main thing she was known for is the soap opera drama with little Liza. Haha

No but she is trying to land her 4S cleanly and there are very few competition left. She did land it last week for the 1st time but it was under. Im sure she is also trying to making a case for herself to be included in the national novice team as well. Im too kinda shocked she is competing here tho

Poor Masha Grinberg, 2 competition in less than a week is not easy especially when the 1st one ended in such disappointment for her

That 3A was so good from Eva she struggled a bit with the backloaded jumps, is she allowed to do 2 X-2A combos? I thought you could only do one?

overall a great free, definitely the best ive seen from her.

ah I was right one of her combos got removed, you cant do to 2a sequence combos

She's not, that's why she got the +REP and her 2A was invalidated. The score will probably be a bit lower than they're going to expect, but nice to see her transition to another coach work out well for her.

The potential was already there at AoP and they did teach her the 3A, but sometimes you have to go to another coach to stabilise your jumps.

She's not, that's why she got the +REP and her 2A was invalidated. The score will probably be a bit lower than they're going to expect, but nice to see her transition to another coach work out well for her.

Im looking forward to see her next season, she is also going to have a backing of a big fed now so she will definitely be a podium threat on the Russian cup stages.

She's been chasing the 4T for a few seasons already, but I'm honestly not convinced she'll ever get it, it seems like she's only moving further and further from landing it.

Honestly even with the fall this has been much much better competition for Alena than few days ago in Kaliningrad. I thought she might have been injured or something as few days ago her jumps were tiny and labored but everything looked fine here.

Yes, she was considered a skater with a lot of promise for quite some time, as she was attempting the 4T at a time most of her other peers were not yet trying quads/3As (She was 11). She was never the most stable skater, nor did she have amazing results, but people were optimistic about her future, especially after she managed to land the 4T once or twice in competition (with some execution issues, but that's not unusual for a new jump).

I don't think her coaches have chosen the best strategy for her, especially as her body type was already very different at 11 than that of the pioneers of quads, like Trusova or Shcherbakova, who were tiny and super slim at 11/12. Her technique isn't great, and as she grows, she's running into similar issues as Sofia Samodelkina, just at a younger age.
