I’m so sorry Andrei wasn’t able to repeat some of his better performances this season. I still think he has the most complete package of the Russian men here. Hoping he can build on this over the next quad.

I'm glad they finally changed the blue in the score box to a lighter colour - the boxes are so small and the green and the blue were too close in colour (at least for my eyes!)

Le sigh. I really wanted Mozalev to do well here. I think he’s the best Russian here and he’s my favorite after Kolyada.

Is it just me, or did they fix the tech box colors? I didn't do anything with my TV, but suddenly the difference between a green box and a blue (element not done yet) box is VERY clear, whereas before there was simply no way to tell the difference.

Not China but the IOC, NBC pays a huge amount to broadcast the Olympics so they try to cater to them.

This also happened at Rio where the swimming finals were at 11pm at night.

Hmm, pretty rough as well. Two falls, one on the opening 4S and another on a 4T about halfway through the program. A great 4T+3T though, and he didn't pop any of his other jumps - 3Lo, 3A+2T, 3A, and 3Lz+1Lo+3S combo. He may be called on a < or q on the 3A and some of the quads.

Presentation-wise, I think he has a bad habit of looking down and his edges could have deeper lobes. He didn't quite match the power of the music, maybe having a stronger port-de-bra would help here particularly with the chest.
