The closest they are coming is asking spectators to not ask for pictures or autographs.I can't believe USFS didn't set one up (an athlete bubble).

I don't follow TSL but they're right on this one. Much as I've been looking forward to the competition, they should cancel now, pick the team based on the BoW criteria they already put out there, and let those skaters isolate so they have a chance to actually compete in Beijing.Hard to watch Brandon's vid on FB...he got very sick very suddenly....How? For any of us, there are many vectors and I get slapped here by the moderators when I talk about them.
Suffice to say that this week's mass screening of the Seattle school system, four percent are positive. This spreads like wildfire. I agree with "The Skating Lesson". Pick the Oly team and get them isolated. Now.
I hate TSL and though I am loath to admit it they are quite correct. Honestly it’s grossly unfair to pick an Olympic team based on who manages to not catch a contagious disease within a certain amount of time. I’d like to see them pick the team and then bubble the entire team plus any alternates, I don’t know, somewhere, at some rink. I’m sure that’s not practical but what they’re doing here isn’t working.I don't follow TSL but they're right on this one. I saw a coach wearing a gaiter in the K&C yesterday.I was a bit concerned, watching the Junior Pairs, that some coaches are lax in their responsibility to ensure their skaters mask up right after they leave the ice. I heard one coach say in the miked kiss and cry - "I was supposed to bring your masks but forgot - oh well. " I hope a usfsa official spoke to that coach and reprimanded his behavior. We need to bubble all these skaters for their protection as well as others.
If its the incident I saw, he was gone for quite a while to get the standard issue masks. Why arent there a pile of them in zip lock bags right there? One male member of a jr ice dance team/Pairs team never put on a mask and blew his nose into a tissue and with no where to throw it, he stuffed it into his right hand.I was a bit concerned, watching the Junior Pairs, that some coaches are lax in their responsibility to ensure their skaters mask up right after they leave the ice. I was impressed on how Japanese Nationals was set up. From what I saw on the telly, most of the people followed the rules...Don't know about their Omicron situation at the time...I can't believe USFS didn't set one up (an athlete bubble).
I found the easiest way to find my prediction post to edit is to click on my name on the top right of the page and pick "your content". Unless you are quite chatty it will be easy to find your prediction post. If you post a lot you might have to scroll a while or go to a second page, etc. to find itSo with Alexa and Brandon withdrawing, I know my predictions are a disaster. I was going to try to modify them, but I couldn't really figure out quickly. (Trying not to spend all day on the forum.)
AFAIR, NBCSN shut down as of the end of 2021, and NBC said that much of their sports coverage that had previously been on NBC Sports will be shifted to USA. I assume there will be no change to the usual coverage that one would receive on NBCSN (other than the channel on which it will be broadcast).I think (not sure) USA Network is part of the NBC family, so we'll probably get Johnny and Tara.

Peacock always shows everything, so i am guessing that with just 8 pairs now, they’re doing two groups of 4 (no icemakej instead of 2-3-icemake-3. Saves time, so can start at 4 instead if 3:45.I'm curious about Peacock - it doesn't start coverage until 4pm Central time, even though the competition starts at 3:45pm - guessing this has to do with the USA network coverage also?
