Not as good as the Olympics for Daniel but he made good program choices this year. His presentation and commitment have improved. Once Steven Tyler starts singing the program gets good.

Other than the initial fall, that was a really solid skate - Good job, Daniel! I found the program really dull though, and he didn't perform much. I love his spins, but I find his jumping technique very off-putting. As the guys on TSL said, he looks like a Pez dispenser in the air because he tilts his head back.

People diss Daniel's artistry, but I think it's quite nice...maybe not the weird break in the middle. I think that's supposed to represent being aimlessly adrift in space...doesn't that happen in Interstellar, I've never seen it.

Grassl’s consistent, but man…. those jumps need an ambulance. There’s something weird going on with his flips too. It looks like he’s popping them. The 3F+3T looked like a 2F+3T.

I LOVE it that the cameraman randomly panned upwards to the ceiling just as Daniel finished, obviously an homage to Daniel and his lovely unconventionality
