Mura's first 3A was a decent attempt (fully rotated as far as I saw, outside edge landing), but her weight was once again very far to the back of her blade, causing her to fall. It's a persistent problem on her 3A, that's also why she stepped out on so many of her 3As in the past, even when they were fully rotated.
AoP skaters have been doing shows for a very long time, including this week. I'm worried about them and some other invited skaters who were there too.I can't believe how much problems Mura has with 3A these days. Last year she executed them with her eyes closed!![]()
That's yoghurt girl right?Last group is already here !! Kostyleva, the little star![]()
Hoping that Adelia will do great!Petrosyan, Prinieva, Kostyleva on ice. I can't breathe!![]()
That was pretty much the only time she fell on her 3A the whole season though, including at the Jumping Tournament where she did like 8 or so clean 3As. In my books, that's pretty stable for an Ultra-C jump. She fell at Russian championships in the free skate cost her bronze.
It's not about that, it's about identifying why one attempt fails & why another one doesn't. Sure that's not my job but her coaches', but I think even fans can benefit from learning to spot issues. We have to keep perspective though. How many senior women in the entire world have a 3A let alone a stable one?
TAT is super positive but real at the same time. 80yo lady genuinely enjoying novice jumping kids, respect to her!Once again I need Tarasova translator![]()

I think Boikova wore it last year? They should let them wear padding
Ex skater from the 80s here. Padding wasn’t a thing…we were bruised to the hilt or learned not to fallThey should let them wear padding
