Yes, the speed is what I love about her. Rita has more quads and maybe higher, but Lena's speed and wide, edgy glide at full pace is exceptional. What a gift this is today. I'm snowed in. lol. Much better organization, it moves right along. As far as the little girls-too many dangerous attempts at quads by some of the girls who are not ready for quads. But Lena...dear lord she is special. Just the speed with which she flys across the ice.
And one attempt for a triple. Two attempts for quads and 3A. That would make more sense.I think they should have given 15 seconds to the girls for attempting quads and 3A like they do it in pairs.
For A/B the quad twist makes sense. Because they can't do the 3Tw4. It looks like they rushed it here, but their attempts at Nationals and their second stage were good. And that's a demo of why quad values are not enough to risk them instead of triples in pairs.
In the second group? She was born in 2010.How young is that girl?
Just finishedIn the second group? She was born in 2010.
So yes, she was born in 2010. Her exact birth date is unknown.Just finished
Short, often yes (and frankly, many of the women here still are quite short), not so much "bulky", many of them were rather lean. There have been very prominent exceptions, of course, see Meagan Duhamel for example (who has a more boxy, muscular body type, though she is also exceptionally short), and many pairs women with a "mid-way" type of body (slim, but very visibly muscular lower bodies).Haven't pair women traditionally been rather short and bulky?
I'd like to see the birth certificate
Tarasova: They are first. That's it.
I like how genuinely Tarasova is enjoying tourney like this. She had seen it all: Olympics, Worlds, Euros with dozens of champions, but she is able to have fun on some minor domestic event. You can hear it in her voice, she is loving the sport.Tarasova: They are first. That's it.

She said it when M/G finished their last element. Before the result were announced.I cant watch as im at work but what happened?
Because it became an actual competition. Previous versions of the event were testing. Will athletes, viewers like this, how to organise this, etc. As for the unknown skaters, as I understand that anyone could have competed in the qualifiers.I wasn't even going to watch it this year, because prior years it has been tedious, but this is very well organized, and moving right along at a nice clip. I also love including unknown skaters (well, mostly unknown to me) and not just the big stars.
