And Gabbie Izzo/Thierry Ferland are on the entry list for Souvenir Georges-Éthier at the end of September, indicating that they are training in Cabada (otherwise they could pick one of the many domestic competitions in the US).

Now, teams training in Canada are not necessarily looking to represent Canada, but in this case, it could be a sign, as one of the two will need to get citizenship for the other country if they want to go to the Olympics, and if they are training in Canada, it's likely that Gabbie is the one going for Canadian citizenship.

too bad they are not doing CQE :) it's pairs galore !!!! and i love thierry ! If I got my facts in place, Thierry is indeed from the Quebec city region originally, where SGE is held.

Also : Gabbie is listed as representing EPJM which stands for École de Patinage Julie Marcotte. It's located in the South Shore of Montreal, and I believe this is where Thierry was training before going to the USA.

3rd stage. Fingers crossed for top 6!

reminder... Championnats québécois d'été : starts now !!! 10-13.

I am planning to go one day.. not sure when but probably for dance and pairs either friday or saturday.

I cannot do both days after all.. too busy.. too far... but the other day, i will be streaming lol

Top 6 is difficult. But, my gut instinct tells me she will score better internationally than she has domestically
There is only 4 total Jpn and Kor. If everything goes well, her tech should place her in contention for 5-6, unless the intl judges decide to support Mrs. Andrea Derby's opinions.

Lori-Ann Matte/Noël-Antoine Pierre are indeed a new pair (as I predicted a few weeks ago):

Seems like they (like Gabbie and Thierry) are still figuring out which country (Canada or France) to represent.

Apparently, at Cranberry, Kaiya attempted a new combo 3Lz+3Lo in the SP. Fiona also attempted a new combo 3s-3t. She fell on it but it's promising ! Looking at the scoring sheet, i am curious about how they skated... PCS are low... especially Fiona's. Surprising to me.

They were both really good. The scoring at that comp was low, nobody waa gifted there.

There is a short little interview clip posted on Twitter with her after her SP and she talks about her new combo attempt. What is most surprising in the clip is that this her first competition in the USA!

She was not given much in recent years... she turned Senior, clinched the bronze at Nationals but didn't have Senior scores to go to 4CC...
