2023-24 Programs by Discipline

Wow, Luc Economides' music is, um, a choice. The next Kanye song I listen to will be the first Kanye song I listen to, although evidently he samples a Gospel tune here, and that I will be happy to look up.

Can Ye fans tell me: is the song meant to be as religious as the lyrics on my screen indicate? This isn't Ave Maria where no one really thinks about the source.

But as my friend @TontoK said, I agree, points for originality.

But I am eagerly awaiting Nikita's Trammps program, even if it is not because someone actually knew what songs were popular in the 70s but because it's being used in some movie/TV show I'll never see. ;) I'll still take it.

Flores/ Desyatov have shared the second part of their new season RD (they shared the Def Leppard first part last week). The second part is to Prince's When Doves Cry (the recorded version, which is copyrighted). The clip they shared on Instagram is to the live version, filmed by Jordan Cowan of OIP when he visited the WASA rink some weeks ago. So, @surimi, or @gsk8, or whoever handles, can you add the additional music selection to F/D's program notes. Thanks!

This won't happen this season, but does anyone remember Kailani Craine skating to Gangster's Paradise? :) :)

I'm sure there will be a lot of Swan Lakes though. It is now my nemesis, just like Tango de Roxanne and Papa Can You Hear Me.

Not sure about Kaori's program either, could become something like last year. :confused:
Sota's programs look the best among these to me. Chameleon is a bit more inspired of a choice and at least I do like Muse.

And nothing against Céline, I like especially some of her French songs, but To love you more?
