2023-24 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 2 - Omsk

That was so good!

Guys, I'm predicting it now. Mazur will be an artistic master in her senior years.

How old is she now by the way? Certainly younger than Titova, right?

Can you elaborate on what you mean? Titova did more shows than Muravieva?

Muravieva has more roles than I can even remember in his shows - I've watched most of them through. I only recall her missing a single trip.

Trofimova seemed to be there quite often too but her roles were minor and short.
Trofimova definitely for example skipped the shows in Beijing to prepare for Jr Test skates in contrast to Nika and Tito, and I thought I remember there being some shows that were missing Mura in the advertisements and she was posting pictures/videos from a different place than the shows were being held at, but maybe I'm misremembering something

Kira definetly hasnt been in all shows but I think Mura has been consistently present at them. I think the jury is still out on how all these shows will affect their competitive performance.

I think there are definitely pros and cons. They take time away from training and preparing for comp but at the same time they're getting exposure to performing more artistically and in front of large crowds which could be better in the long run

Like I said, I only remember Muravieva missing one show. But, who knows. Regardless, to me Titova seemed not to be at the forefront of her trainer's mind competitively, which is a shame.

Shows are significantly lower stress than competition - its not really comparable even if were talking exposure. Its definitely better than nothing, though; keeps you in the right mindset.

Hmm, Labutina was better and I'm glad she's first so far, I really liked the program and execution, unlike Mazur.
I think Maria had some UR calls there. She normally gets them but I wasn't very focused on her landings to say for 100% certainty.

I like Liza a lot too, one of my faves of her generation.
