I think she had an extra jump again.Alena... Tech panel feasted on her. But she really had some dubious landings. Pity, her SP was great.
Lydia will win. It would be incomprehensible if Elena won today. This was rough by Kosty, Still 3A and 4S delivered. But LIdia should win IMO.
She jumped 3 2As. Her first 3Lz was supposed to be a 4Lz. Total disaster.I think she had an extra jump again.
I'm so shocked she popped that 4S, feels like she hasn't messed up that jump in forever. Guess the fall on the 4T threw her off. But oh well, better to get the mistakes out here than nats/final, and it's understandable, given she did two stages in a row + was on a long, delayed flight + is still dealing with a slight injury. Hopefully both these programs will be cleaned up by February! Many girls had basically the same total score from both stages although it was distributed various ways across their SP and FSI'm finishing the table
Morozova's first stage score is 184.80 and her next stage score is 184.79. What do you know about consistency?
Her pop might have been caused by her fall on the 4T. She looked uneasy afterwards. If the 4S is her more stable quad maybe they should put the toe after the salchows and make it optional too to relieve her of some of the pressure.Sorry, Lena, I cursed u by being awake for your skateI'm so shocked she popped that 4S, feels like she hasn't messed up that jump in forever. Many skaters especially dancers have same scores but Morozova definitely won this. Many girls had basically the same total score from both stages although it was distributed various ways across their SP and FS
E.g. Alena Prineva just now.
Yea, I was thinking that the 4S should be before the 4T to prevent smth like that from happening. That 4S is her money jump, you can usually rely on her to land it even if she's sick or injured, so this was quite the surprise. The fall definitely threw her off and caused her to pop the 4S. Perhaps they'll give the layout a second thoughtHer pop might have been caused by her fall on the 4T. She looked uneasy afterwards. It's the first time she fails 4S at a Tier 1 tournament in her entire career.feels like she hasn't messed up that jump in forever.
Her consistency on it is very impressive. I'll actually be a bit surprised if she doesn't keep it post-pubertyIt's the first time she fails 4S at a Tier 1 tournament in her entire career.
She landed it twice at Novice nationals from 22-24
Last season (24/25) she landed it 8/8 times with one q-call.
Of course she landed both last stage as well.
She is now 14/15 on Salchows at Tier 1 tournaments. With only 2 q-calls. Most of the time she jumps it in combo as well.
The results of the Junior Nats also matter. So it isn't sure who goes to the final.Ooh, Morozova qualifies for the final with this result. Good for her! But I feel like Lezina was done dirty here
