It was a lackluster effort though. Sometimes he seems as if he is burned out on figure skating-a normal thing for all skaters-and especially since no international assignments at stake-Poor Artyom is just 0.3 point fourth.
No, her average score from last season is 200.61 (not counted 1TV as there was only free skate). season before it was 204.92, but that was with 1st sport competitions where scoring is little different and there were still bonuses given in 2023/24 in junior cup, while 2024/25 there were no bonuses. Her average score for last season was a bit lower than with CSKA. Sub-200 vs over 200.
I rounded early but still scored better before. The PCSs are comparable between both seasons. Her black swan program was great. Still her best one. I'm not really arguing the switch to Eteri was bad but she hasn't noticeably improved. No, her average score from last season is 200.61 (not counted 1TV as there was only free skate). season before it was 204.92, but that was with 1st sport competitions where scoring is little different and there were still bonuses given in 2023/24 in junior cup, while 2024/25 there were no bonuses.
Last season she also achieved her max scores.
Problem is CSKA has no really successful skater above 15 apart Dzepka who is a class of her own. remaining there she would be at best new Kulikova, not bad but no prospect. I'm not saying she will develop for sure now but she would not for sure where she was.I rounded early but still scored better before. The PCSs are comparable between both seasons. I'm fine with her at Eteri's camp but I disagree about the Kulikova comparison completely. I already picked her out as a mega-talent from the first time I saw her black swan.Problem is CSKA has no really successful skater above 15 apart Dzepka who is a class of her own. remaining there she would be at best new Kulikova, not bad but no prospect. To be honest I wasn't persuaded when she changed for Eteri because I did not (and still do not) consider her Eteri type skater. But I am pretty sure what her level is now is certainly not a level that is worse than it would be elsewhere. I think it is necessary to wait a year or two when she grows and takes "feminine shapes".I'm fine with her at Eteri's camp but I disagree about the Kulikova comparison completely. These programs Eteri has been giving her are not interesting. It stifles her artistry. Her French SP was fine but the rest is not her level.
Prineva is just enormously talented. She would have distinguished herself in any case.
No, they are not related, they are from different cities.Does anyone know if this Regina Trusova is Sasha's mom?
I feel like she should have been above Alena overall, but I have to go back and watch the skatesIn what way? She got the same PCS as girls at her level. There definitely deserved to be a significant gap between her and Morozova. She lost TES on rotations which even Anna wasn't shy to point out (she usually is).
I mean, eteri isn't really better in that regard...especially taking into consideration that it seems she'll end up being on the taller sideProblem is CSKA has no really successful skater above 15 apart Dzepka who is a class of her own. remaining there she would be at best new Kulikova, not bad but no prospect. I am really sad they didn't make it, particularly Voronov, but it was obvious he had troubles. Still can't believe he won't be in the Jr nationals, not even substitute. When I look through the list, they were all memorable participants, except -- with my appologies to the young man -- Koloskov. Gonna go check the schedules to see when is the next competition.Junior Nationals Men Qualification

This time there was more competition for junior nationals than in previous seasons. Two national team members, Eduard Karartynyan and Vadim Voronov, haven't made it.
Junior Channel One Cup is on December 6th. Though we still have no regulations.Gonna go check the schedules to see when is the next competition.
Oh, I am sure it would be nice. I just don't understand the difference between that and junior GP final, but any event with juniors is bound to be lovely.Junior Channel One Cup is on December 6th. Though we still have no regulations.
