2025-26 Russian Junior Grand Prix - Stage 6 - Omsk

I'll actually be a bit surprised if she doesn't keep it post-puberty
I was thinking the same. It's the most consistent 4S in history. Maybe most consistent ladies' quad in history. It's clearly her jump. She grew since novice at least some and nothing has changed.

I feel like Lezina was done dirty here
In what way? She got the same PCS as girls at her level. There definitely deserved to be a significant gap between her and Morozova. She lost TES on rotations which even Anna wasn't shy to point out (she usually is).

just catching up on the girls-loved the black swan, and hope Agata M. has made it through to the next stage. (@AlexBreeze ?)Congrats to Lydia-I don't love the program but she nailed everything. Lena looks under the weather-green around the gills while she was sitting there with Plushy-her 3A has that long build up, but it is a beautiful jump. Still, she needs way more 'program'.

Anyway, I wish Prineva would hurry up and leave Eteri...she hasn't gained anything since switching there, not even reputation scoring, since she was already getting a bonus from being the top cska skater. I know she was already starting to have some problems with jumps during her last season at cska, but at least her programs were good :slink:
Last season she won a GP stage, I don't think that's "nothing".

Ooh, Morozova qualifies for the final with this result. Good for her! But I feel like Lezina was done dirty here
I'm so glad. Of all the programs, hers was my favorite, and I'm not usually a black swan fan. (overused). But I loved her program, and the jumps she does were big and beautiful.

What's going on with Boys, Eduard was pretty good last two seasons. But this season it is like he's not himself.

Not bad at all from Daniil. A bit shaky on the quads but skated with good focus and determination. Interesting shirt design, fits well to the music and the overall program.

Vadim Voronov is turning into good performer, but for now his jumps are inconsistent. He is growing obviously.

I'll post junior men's qualification list later but it's known that Karartynyan hasn't made the cut.

Awful. He lost silver at his previous stage by just 0.01. And that's crucial now.

I caught up on the singles' SPs from yesterday, going to see the free today as much as possible to free up the rest of the weekend for worrying about Mozalev.

Nice composition on the last stage in juniors.

I am hopeful that Voronov wasn't injured, just had a period of adjustment because leaving Moscow and settling in St Petersburg must have taken time and efforts. But I hope he is happy in the new group and will be able to develop as much as he wants to, since he always made this impression of a very self aware skater with a vision for what he wants to be like from a remarkably early age. So, yeah, fingers crossed. Mal'kov and the very young competitor with 2A showed some lovely skating too, and the rest was some solid work in progress. I think the scoring is still too high for Fedotov the Younger.

In women, Kostyleva is catching up, but with such a turbulent off-season it is a wonder she is able to compete back to back in the eleventh hour. This competition also have Petrova and Pleskacheva missing only Dzepka for a full demo of current talent. Prineva seems to also be gaining form but I didn't like this music for junior skaters.

Anyway, onto the free!
