Splendid dress, unfortunately rough skate. Seems like she has artistry within her but another girl who lacks the strength training.

There seems to be a bigger crowd than a non-Russian event I watched in the last day. Great effort for a domestic event! A new international sponsor Chery by the look of it too.

I wonder if the crowds of cup of Russia stages always have been so big. Seems like before 2019 final (when Fed decided that nats and euros were not enough to give WC spots AKA "saving private Medvedeva"), not many were paying attention to those comps.

Agaeva is a splendid skater for certain but in regards to this program itself I dont feel much. The costume is lovely though and very unique.

She clearly has a great future in the sport.

That was amazing. She missed a level on the Step Seq-and yet it was a great step seq. I would put this into first easily, but it looks like the judges have another idea. sigh.

I was surprised when i saw that Agaeva was taller than both Petrosian and Gorbacheva (who are older). I thought she was as tiny.

Same. I didn't realise Gorbacheva was still so small too.

Cantilever is done by a lot of skaters. But this slide is her own element (like Aymoz slide).

Peculiar take on the mountain king. Skating was maybe a bit wild but full of energy.

Not as athletic as I recall her actually, but Im going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Still not a failure what so ever, she is still good and can redeem herself in the free. I think nerves probably got to her today from the long break, and she should make the final where she can show her true form.

By the way, this dress is totally marvellous.
