those scores are absolute fantasy land
can they stop throwing points at the skaters like that?
ahahaha i was referring to a couple of episode that happened to me over the years here on GS but i'm realising that you're new and you don't know what i'm talking about. i usually assume every user is female (and younger than me), this led me to some funny misunderstandings like that time when i kept addressing an user as a woman for a year but it was actually a man. another time i kept calling daughter another user who was abviously a man and so onIt's okay, I'm a woman, I'm pretty sure of thatI just like some details of men's clothing, why not. Especially walking around in pants or a man's suit is so natural these days. My female students almost never wear skirts, preferring baggy men's clothes.
Sometimes I want something completely different, romantic dresses, but I usually have a unisex style.
I noted that you have an anti-gravity perm growing and I'm apparently about to get a mullet...![]()

well i'm a brunetteI've already figured it outActually, I've been here for a long time, but I decided to register only after the Beijing Olympics.
The problem with all analytical languages is that you can't tell what gender the speaker is. This is not the case with synthetic languages, where you can't help giving away your gender-a, -o, zero ending, fine, I know who you are. That's why I love all Slavic languages, and I had to deal with at least a little bit of each of them when I did my uni course.
You're still the one with the perm and I'm the one in white? I never dreamed of a waist like that, but why not dream?
I just remembered that you have a wild perm, so I picked the one with the smooth hairwell i'm a brunettebut who cares? which one do you want to be? Sabrina or Jo?
I could be any of them, they're beautiful.I thought you were blonde but i remember that it's actually Jumping_Bean.well i'm a brunettebut who cares? which one do you want to be? Sabrina or Jo?
I wonder why they did let you call them by the wrong gender all this time, especially your daugther, Makar's husband. He was probably laughing behind his screenahahaha i was referring to a couple of episode that happened to me over the years here on GS but i'm realising that you're new and you don't know what i'm talking about. i usually assume every user is female (and younger than me), this led me to some funny misunderstandings like that time when i kept addressing an user as a woman for a year but it was actually a man. another time i kept calling daughter another user who was abviously a man and so on![]()

I don't really want to add gasoline to the fire. And I honestly try to understand Samarin's fans, God bless them.
But the reaction of the Russian fan community is pretty telling:
He is an enganging performer, full of energy; he chooses distintive music and has always little details, face expressions, hand movements, that match perfectly to the music; I love those touchs. He engages with the audience and always tries to give an extra more. He is just fun to watch nothing actually in one sense or the otherI thought you were blonde but i remember that it's actually Jumping_Bean.

"Malinin is the great hope of American FS, so I can understand the inflated components to some extent (although I completely agree with you). What hopes are pinned on Samarin and what he has to enrich figure skating at least within our country, I can't even imagine. When I ask questions, I'm told "well, he makes the audience stand up", which is fine, although it's debatable to me (I stayed seated, and I don't count?), but it certainly doesn't make the skate more graceful, and the movements less jerky, and it doesn't turn triple jumps into quads. What he does with an audience, Yagudin does now at a much higher level, with dedication and artistry, so I don't consider Samarin the most artistic and audience-working skater. As it is... he's in a league of his own, his components are in some separate universe. It's a pity that there is only one table and they didn't come up with a separate one for him.Ehhh.... Actually I do like SamarinHe is an enganging performer, full of energy; he chooses distintive music and has always little details, face expressions, hand movements, that match perfectly to the music; I love those touchs. That said, and taking the pointers from your video, I do miss Misha Kolyada. A lot, and hope that somehow sometime he may return to competitions. Misha's skating was increadibly beautiful and his movements and gliding simply ethereal . Yes, it's very different to Samarin, I agree. But they are both skaters that from an artistic and performance point of view (my favourite part of figure skating) bring something special to the table and that I enjoy watching.
And actually when you see skates like Malinin's FS at Skate America where he was given 88 in PCS for absolutely no performance skills whatsover, no emotions, no connection to the music nor the public, no nothing... well, what can I say, Samarin does deserve his PCS![]()

good night tovarish!I'm afraid I'll have to bow out, it's the deep night. I'm from Siberia, you know. I catch up on the news over my morning coffee
Enjoy your viewing and bright emotions!
Did I actually ever talk about my hair color here?I thought you were blonde but i remember that it's actually Jumping_Bean.
Honey, we are not in the same league when it comes to streams. ISU and Russian channels never geoblocked anything in my country since they probably don't know it exists. VPN is for you peasants
Something about your parents choosing your first name according to your hair color.Did I actually ever talk about my hair color here?Though I must admit, I am not a natural blonde but I used to be blonde, indeed. Too much work though

Ah, yes I indeed remember. Though my parents had indeed chosen two names - One I got (Melanie), and the other for if I had been blonde. Not a French name, but an Italian oneSomething about your parents choosing your first name according to your hair color.
But since you say that you're not a natural blonde, i have a doubt. Either it wasn't you, or you're probably a brunette and your name is Mélanie and i don't know why i thought it was Claire.
