Phil Hersh on Adam Rippon & Ashley Wagner's podcast said recently words to the effect of, sometimes it seems like many skaters would give the same performance if the music was replaced by two trash can lids being banged together.

The Brits did really well, relatively speaking, and I enjoyed that.

It helps to not have a disaster skate (errors yes, not a disaster) and it wasn't even a snooze fest.
