I really like Nikita - he puts everything into his performance, and he had real guts to keep pushing through to the end on this skate. Hats off. He has a lot of charisma, too. I think he has a bright future.

Not a good skate from Starostin. But I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the music to which he skated (my first time watching this program) as a fan of Jamiroquai. It's too rarely used.

Sweden needs two men at euros again. Once upon a time there were three. Then fast down to one and Alexander Majorov in 11th place for four seasons. I think the Majorov brothers competed together once at euros. Last season Nikolaj was the only chosen but got covid. I wish Sweden would prepare better with juniors competing as seniors so there is a substitute.
