Jimmy looked so utterly relaxed and happy before that skate and that made the difference. He deserves to be in first but will the judges give him the PCS he deserves for once? He is ahead on tech.

I tweeted him from my hospital bed to remind him those were his legs.

Miura’s opening 4S was humongous. But his skating does nothing for me. His speed works for this program, but he always comes off as wild and uncontrolled in the free.

Agreed, but too much passion is easier to rein in than creating passion from someone who instinctively freezes up… or so I’ve been told
