Koshiro decided to help Kevin place higher. Maybe after Matteo and Kevin this was a little bit quite a lot meh.

A great piece of music and some interesting choreography - Well done! Unfortunately, it was not a great jumping day for Koshiro. He has a great smile, even after a difficult skate.

Considering he's coming back from injury, not bad, but it certainly didn't help, skating after Matteo and Kevin.

This was a mixed bag skate for Shimada. What a mess to fall on unnecessary 2T tacked to 3A, not a common sight. He will def. drop.

I am not liking this Danse Macabre on Koshiro, although I do like him. This tinkly version trivializes the macabre part of the music and his moves do not in any way express the drama of this choice. The music is small sounding and diminishes his skating. I blame the choreographer. A bigger, bolder version of this piece would've made his jumps, even if watered down by injury, seem bigger and more artistic. An artistic fail for him and a so-so technical skate.

Okay GPF qualification update: If Jimmy gets on the podium, Kevin is out and Shun/Kao are in if they go 1-2. If Kevin is third and Shun second, Shun will need to score above a 281.62 total score which is around a 191 free skate to move ahead of him. If Shun wins and Kao is second, they will both qualify regardless of where Kevin places.
