Not a bad skate for him. Pretty little in terms of actual program, but not too bad at all.

Yes, and women on the other hand are expected to show emotions and then shamed and made fun of when they do. It's really not easy being human, is it.

Societal pressure. Men are "supposed to be strong" and somehow people have gotten the weird idea that "being strong" means showing no emotions (apart from anger, I guess, because that's an emotion too, though many seem to forget).
