From google pics of such stuffies, I'd say it's a leaf and a stem?my eyes were instantly drawn to the avocados and then i noticed the green thing on top of them... what is it? so cute

Pray.....Last year it was on the same ISU Channel as the JGP. I am hoping that will be true this year.

IMHO these two - super talented and with loads of potentialI'm going to admit that I did not pay much attention to the juniors this year. Are there any special skaters that we should keep an eye on?
Yeah, it always feels so much easier to run when we go to BC. But novices seemed okay in the FS yesterday, though I only watched women and dance.Although Calgary is not at 6000 ft elevation like Colorado Springs, it is not at sea level either---3428 feet. That's higher than Lake Placid (1800 ft). While I wouldn't expect to see skaters gasping for breath while on the ice, some skaters may find freeskates a bit more taxing than usual.
But the density altitude is -760 ft right now! (2668) ft LOL! More like Spokane today....We shall see what it is during the comp.Although Calgary is not at 6000 ft elevation like Colorado Springs, it is not at sea level either---3428 feet. Wow there's load of potential there! I've been hearing about them and have been meaning to check them out. Thanks for posting the link.they're great, aren't they - and only 13 and 15 (although I think Atl may have turned 16 recently) - here's a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcuaUAVeayw
They give me the same feeling as the first time I watched the Shibs...you KNEW you were seeing something special. And good for them for going with bold music...Wow there's load of potential there! I've been hearing about them and have been meaning to check them out. Thanks for posting the link.
When I was still teaching, we went to Calgary for the Stampede. Coming from the coast of California, We experienced some altitude sickness the first day but, it was nowhere near what I experienced at the Red Rock Amphitheater outside of Denver.Although Calgary is not at 6000 ft elevation like Colorado Springs, it is not at sea level either---3428 feet. Definitely! I saw them competing at the British Nationals in 2019 or 2020, and was really struck by their presence on the ice. They give me the same feeling as the first time I watched the Shibs...you KNEW you were seeing something special. And good for them for going with bold music...
Anna has to keep it together and stop imitating Frangipani's wildnessI hope that Kida/Morita can fight for a top 10 finish! Feels like I haven't seen them for ages
Also, I would love new SBs for Anna Pezzetta and Kaiya Ruiter!![]()
