I'm torn. I want to watch this, but I have so much that I want to get done this morning.

I think I'll start watching, and then maybe bail out during it.

Oh, this is the Ice Dance Podium Ceremony that is on now, rather than the Gala itself.

I always find it amusing that the Russians play the "Dallas" theme tune when the skaters are getting their photos taken at the end of the Podium Ceremony.

I half expect JR Ewing to walk out and congratulate them!

Unfortunately, we know that won't happen, as Larry Hagman has been dead for 10 years. (Wow! I can't believe it has been that long!)

Well, I suppose she is the most "local" of the three girls on the podium, with Glazov being only 3,100 miles from Krasnoyarsk.

That said, I now see that Valieva is from Kazan, which is only 250 miles further down the road.

Seeing numbers like these, never mind the figures for the skaters from Moscow and St. Petersburg, it makes you realise just how far the skaters had to travel to get to Krasnoyarsk.

Ah, they played the national anthem for the girls. They didn't for the other categories.

And I am always in awe of people who skate in jeans, because denim isn't exactly the most flexible material.

Thank goodness he ditched it within the first 20 seconds of the programme.

I have been a fan of Aliev for a long time, and it so good to see him back on form.

The irony is, her dress is actually similar to Aliev's jacket that I didn't like. Yet I loved the dress!

Although it was a clever concept in that it was the opposite of Yasmina's dress, I don't think Valeri's costume worked.

That was a really fun programme! I really enjoyed it!
