I think that's because they've trained with Moskvina since they were juniors while Mishina/Galliamov have not. M/G came with better technique. It's Moskvina's one weakness as a coach.

It's because they don't do a hand above the head feature anymore because of the quad twist training.

M/G used to lose levels before coming to Moskvina and in their first season under her.
