I think he leans too hard inside the circle and ends up with a lean that is hard to recover from
He seems like he should fly across the rink with that power… I just don’t get it. But, it is what it is. Disappointed, for sure. I keep hoping for an awesome Annis moment.

Yeah, and honestly what’s the point of going anime if you don’t go over the top? I can think of at least one ballet-themed anime, but it went full throttle.
 
Joseph such an engaging junior but never reallly developed as a senior. Jumps iffy and not high base value. Level 2 for steps??? He needs a jumps coach or a new coach in general or perhaps skating not that important to him.
