I wonder about those double throws. She seems to have decent jumps; hope they can get those triples going by next season. Their lifts and synchronization are strong!

Jackie Wong has seen them doing a throw triple loop in practice.

Another very nice skate for Ellie & Danny. There were mistakes but the overall impression was still quite strong. I am impressed with her ability to match his speed. Their lifts are spectacular. Very nice way to voercome the stumble on the death spiral. Some very pretty position by this team Some easier throws and jumps are part of the learning process. I can't wait to see this team a year from now. Bravo to them.

Also - I need to see them use Danny's bald head and do The King and I next year.

It's sorta mean but I remember Danny and Tarah debuting Clair de Lune and the shaved head with Danny in a black turtleneck and someone asking if Danny's head was meant to be the moon.

Not anymore, Harley Windsor and Maria Chernyshova split, but I guess he'll find another Russian-born pairs skater soon enough

Hmm did he say he's still looking to continue? I remember C/W split sometime after he got sidelined with a foot injury. That and the potential mental impact from Katya's fate makes me wonder.

I'm hoping Australia has some other partnerships in the pipeline, even if at a low level currently. I thought Mozer had a big hand in A/W's success back in the day, but this season G/GM have been based in Sydney with the Pachins and doing great. So clearly they have the coaching skills and training infrastructure locally. Just need to convince more of their singles to convert (like UK have done with the two young teams here).
