Had to mute Noonan at 2018 olys because she wouldn't shut her trap, so I've switched to eurosport player with Chris Howarth! Pity Louise Walden is with him but it's still a major improvement.

Yes, I really like this new pairing. But age gap is wide--Ellie still a teen and just coming into her own, Danny already past 30. Lasting a quad is a lot to ask, but we can hope.

Danny is such an accomplished pairs guy, he could probably make me look good.

Some timing issues that need to be worked out, maybe with more experience from/with Ellie, but good to see him on the ice again.

Danny O Shea’s technical skating is so lovely and fluid that when he’s on the ice, I watch only him—which of course is not the point of pairs.

I always wonder what he might have been like as a singles skater, before he went into pairs

It is indeed Alain Goldberg on French CBC... I will stick to him since he is biased towards Canadians and that suits me in this discipline There is also Jacinthe Taillon.. she is not a figure skating analyst, just a colour commentator/info giver...
