She's disappointed

It's always really hard, because while her score is fair based on technical issues (if maybe a bit low in presentation tbh), it's got to be really difficult to come off the ice thinking you've done well and then being left scrambling for answers after receiving a low score.

Doesn't help that technical panels are wildly inconsistent and skaters don't get consistent feedback on technical issues across competitions.

The jumps were not Bradie's friend today, but I really enjoyed her overall performance. The voice over works very well with the music cut, and she sells it, for me, with the way the choreography slows and gives her time to emote. That intense look she gives at the How dare you, just before the music picks up again, hits the spot. The speed of her spins is fantastic, and the synchrony of the final Ch Combo spin with the music is great.

I am not at all a fan of that spot-system anyway. I wish it was more about the skaters individually than about the countries.
But some countries don't have the best strategies to get their spots, either.
