I'm definitely for a required jump in the Short in Jrs after seeing some Russian skaters learning quads despite not having consistent triple Flips or Lutzes, but I'd be ok with it having to be either a solo jump or in combination. That rule should be erased.
I think so... his wiki entry says he is at TCC since 2017 and long prior to that coached my chiddy briefly that's when I first heard of him.He lives there, isn't he?
He comes cheaper to invite.
btw did you see Arina is now training 4S, I dont know what Vika is thinking here.I'm definitely for a required jump in the Short in Jrs after seeing some Russian skaters learning quads despite not having consistent triple Flips or Lutzes, but I'd be ok with it having to be either a solo jump or in combination.
It used to be, although I forget when it changed. Plus, most the short programs I remember the required solo jump was a double.yeah.. it's evil... i feel it should be like that in seniors too
She's going to struggle next season with the required solo Lutz in the Short. Strategically, it's a nightmare, and developmentally, I'd call it a nightmare too.btw did you see Arina is now training 4S, I dont know what Vika is thinking here.
I think it did change when it went to required triples on steps.... i remember so many women doing a double lutz one year.. which was weird as the top women were also doing a triple lutz combo. It used to be, although I forget when it changed. Plus, most the short programs I remember the required solo jump was a double.
she can do a double in the SPShe's going to struggle next season with the required solo Lutz in the Short. Strategically, it's a nightmare, and developmentally, I'd call it a nightmare too.
Same.I'm definitely for a required jump in the Short in Jrs after seeing some Russian skaters learning quads despite not having consistent triple Flips or Lutzes, but I'd be ok with it having to be either a solo jump or in combination.
I really dont get it, like the 4T was a choice when she doesn't have a 3lz and a barely functioning 3flip but now a 4S too. Its not like that 4T is working out in competition eitherShe's going to struggle next season with the required solo Lutz in the Short. Strategically, it's a nightmare, and developmentally, I'd call it a nightmare too.
GOE is exactly rewarding flow, ease in and out of jumps, elevation etc... so poor jumps will mean lower GOE.. but here I suspect she got dinged on rotation as well at least for the Salchow. Can you get negative goe for extremely poor speed and distance. Technically not a mistake but her jumps were really poor quality
