I would like that Kaiya Ruiter get one of the 2 spots in Finland. I love her skating !
Kaiya is 5th on the replacement list. She cannot get a second spot until the four skaters above her in the list each have two spots. There would need to be a few more withdrawals for that to happen.

Anyone know why Levito withdrew? Is she injured?
I guess she and the her team realized that they need to regroup and focus?

Isabeau looked so shocked after Skate America...she thought she had won, but no, the tech judges butchered her.
And maybe this is a good thing. Her tech has always looked suspicious and I frankly find her to be a bit overscored the last couple of seasons - especially if you compare to Thorngren who I think is a better skater.

Dave Lease on the Skating Lesson alleged that she maybe injured but did not state how she was it was just his observation. She did at the beginning at Cranberry to still have a shaky jumping technique for the lutz; but managed to pull it together for at least the short for SA but again she was I agreed overscored

Has she announced why she's withdrawn?

I also dont know why you're assuming she thought she'd won Skate America. She fell and she obviously knows that mistakes can cost skaters medal. It's happened to her before, multiple times. She was hardly "butchered".

Will this pair be the alternate? Yuna NAGAOKA / Sumitada MORIGUCHI

Is there enough time for them? I don't remember this pair at all.

I love them, but they are still very new. I don't know if they are ready for 2 GPs. Are they next on the replacement list?

Yes they are next on the list so should get the invitation to Finlandia.
I think their only other outing was John Nicks this year and it was a bit rough. 8th in both short program and free skate. They do not have a triple twist but have a good SBS combo. Will be interesting to see if they've improved for NHK.
