2024-25 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 3 - Krasnoyarsk

Ouch the combo.
That will be a wide gap after the SP. Landing on the podium with a clean free will be possible but the win is gone.

Yeah, her TES went down, but that's not what they should (or will) be concerned about - She also got lower PCS than Anna.
Now I see. But PCS is PCS. It's more than possible to beat Anna in TES since her BV is never very high.

And generally the TP seems to be very strict. Anyway I only know one person there.

Frolova beats Mura on PCS. I know @Mathematician isn't happy.
Why? Mura is totally out of the character. Technically good, but she's not a black swan in the slightest. First part of the program her face projected nothing but being scared, after the music change she tried to smile a couple of times, but the only change is that scare was replaced with concentration.

Well all of my predictions for this event were categorically wrong in every way except for those on Akateva's grand nervousness. What can you expect for the first skate back after almost 2 years? I really hope she can take it easy on herself this one time...

I love Sofia’s (akatieva) program, the beginning is just beautiful and very elegant like her.
Sad about the mistake but third is already very good for a comeback.
She seemed tired at the end, though.

Frolova: SSp rewatched to level 4, the rest as it was
Muravieva: CCoSp3V (nS), StSq3, LSp3
Kulikova: 3Lzq+3T, StSq2, LSp3
Gorbacheva, Akatieva: nothing changed, spins level 4 + StSq3
Agaeva: 3F!, 3Lz+3Tq. CCoSp rewatched to level 4, but LSp to level 3.
Chaplygina: 3Lz!, 3Fq+3Lo

Now I see. But PCS is PCS. It's more than possible to beat Anna in TES since her BV is never very high.
PCS is (in my experience) very often indicative of political shifts behind the scenes - That's why I personally find it more concerning than TES. This is her tied lowest PCS score after she moved up to Seniors fully, and that includes multiple SPs with falls.

In terms of TES, there isn't really very much separation in the Short - 0.68 more for Mura if they both get level 4s for everything. The Free has bigger gaps (usually).
