It was more out of pity they gave her the points. Fitness isn't there and looks disinterested.

I find Mark fascinating. Not so much his skating, but the concepts he chooses. And costumes. Never dull, is our Mark.

Samsonov is for me always the hard rock skater (and that's not a bad thing) - maybe because he's done it since he was 12, when he first caught my attention.

This group is living up to expectations. Nice skate by Samsonov. He was a personal fav as a junior and it's nice to see him finally injury free.

Many of you will be far too young to remember, but Mark always reminds me of Canadian ace Toller Cranston, my favourite skater of all times - on many levels. It's almost mindblowing.
Funnily enough, Toller admired Russian skaters and skating. He lived in Russia for a while.

This programme would have been right up his street.
