I was surprised when I was making out my predictions, because I could have sworn that I'd read a few years ago that Dario had split with his partner in Russia and was heading back to Italy. But, it appears he found a new partner in Russia instead.

Kh/N are very very good.
P/C are very promising just need to skate clean.
K/N are not this good comparing to them.
M/U are really ready for making the national team again.
Sh/G are definitely the best ex-junior team

because they're better than the current crop of dancers and have international reputation

He was skating with a girl from the Czechia, but it needed too many to get a release, and two top partners (Pasechnik and Kaganovskaia) split with their partners.

Yes, that was it. Typical me! I remembered he had found a partner outside Russia, but got mixed up with the details.

But, glad to see him doing well with his new partner.

Just catching up on todays action(not as good as watching it live though) Great performance from Stepanova and Bukin, as expected, I do like this program. Wonder if Liza and Igor Bazin can make up a place in the free dance, I like their Rhthym dance as well.

I feel bad for Kaganovskaya - she is such a good ice dancer but he is not as good as her. Hopefully he will improve in time.
