Averbukh said he's going to be doing Mura's programs for the coming season. He's done some great programs in the past, and his love for dramatic & lyrical programs coincides with what Mura has been doing for a number of seasons now.

Maybe we'll see something unusual for both of them, though. We'll see in a few months.

He actually said a program and not programs. It is quite possible that a second program will be done by someone else. Nikita would be a cool option.

Oh, I've now realized that Sofia will now be working with Navislavskaia. Intriguing.

All the best to Sofia, it will be interesting to see her next season. Can't say I am surprised she moved coaches, she clearly wasn't happy at AOP

She could also work with Benoit Richaud.🤔 He did Agatha's SP this season (among many other programs for Team Mishin over the past years), and it was definitely something new for her in terms of style.

I am hyped for it.

I've been watching some old videos of ksenia sinitsina and I remembered how much I liked her skating. Does she have the same coach she's always had (a woman with blonde hair)? What's the coach's name? And could the reason for the Russian skating federation's reluctance to treat her as a top contender be because her coach isn't as famous or have enough pull? I know ksenia didn't have an ultra-C, but still...

Yes, Ksenia is still with Svetlana Panova at the "Snow Leopards" skating school.

No, the reason she was not a top contender this season is not because of her coach, after all, she won bronzeat the Russian GPF and at Russian Nationals last season (2023/24), and her younger teammate Lidia Pleskacheva won bronze at Jr Nationals last season and silver at Novice Nationals this season. For one, other skaters stepped up their game this season (particularly Alina Gorbacheva and Daria Sadkova, also Anna Frolova, who became even more consistent). For another, Ksenia had a bad season due to the model of skates she used no longer being available, and her having issues finding another one that worked for her. Once that happened, her skating improved a lot (like her performance of the Free at the RGPF & the Channel One Cup), but it was just too late for the major competitions of the season.

I think ksenia also was affected by the car accident she was involved at the start of the season, it took her self-confidence off for a long time.

Veronika Zhilina has been refused a release for Azerbaijan.

Sikhuralidze told the media that applications submitted by athletes without citizenship or residence in the country of switch for at least a year are not considered.

(The second sentence is the ISU rule by the way).
