Even with the two falls, I’m pleasantly surprised by Dai. I really liked his SP too. Jin may finally have a wingman.

First time I remember watching Daiwei. Despite the mistakes I really enjoyed that and want to see more of him. Lovely edges and several quality elements.

Thoroughly agree!

I know we frequently hear complaints about the Canadian skaters not being sent out on international assignments, but I would say it is even more the case for the Chinese. We hardly ever see them.

And DAI Daiwei (CHN) has been a revelation the past couple of days. I would love to see him on the international circuit more regularly.
